Are You Avoiding Meditation?
This morning I woke up and began to start my day. I could feel that I needed to get a crystal out of my healing office room. I first went in and picked up the white quartz crystal asking it, “Is it you that I am to connect with?” and started to walk upstairs.
I could feel it in my body. I needed one more crystal. The image of my big pink rose quartz showed itself to me in my mind’s eye.
I thought, wow it has been a while since I could hear the crystals call to me. Then I realized that maybe I just tuned them out. They are simply frequency beings and I wasn’t operating at their frequency.
For so long I have stopped myself from meditating, finding time to connect in and just be or to even tune into my crystals.
I found myself using the same excuses:
I don’t have time.
Tomorrow for sure.
I need to get this done, I’ll get to it later.
Are you familiar with this? Pushing meditation off because there are a thousand other things in your life that are more valuable.
I was reminded about time in my past life when I was just getting into blogging and developing my holistic wellness knowledge. I clearly remember that meditation was a non-negotiable.
At the time I had a great meditation practice. What I experienced was more time in my day. More flow to my life. Things seemed to fall right into place. I was only meditation up to maybe 20 minutes a day.
There was a period of time where I tested my theory of meditation out and stopping doing it. Man, my life sucked. It was bad. I told myself that I needed to keep up with this practice.
Fast forward years, I mean many, more than 10 and today I realized that I had stopped meditating and making this a daily practice.
I have allowed myself to push this practice away. Trying to figure out how to make my life work by looking outside of myself for the answers. Yes, we can all get hung up on things that are necessarily in our best interest. Especially if we desire something so bad and we haven’t been able to make it work.
In reality, you should be listening to yourself first. YOU are the one that needs to lead the way.
Why do you avoid meditation?
Maybe because the thought of being quiet scares you?
When you are quiet and you get present within your body - it allows you to feel and to see things that you might not of seen before.This can be scary. Especially if we hold onto to much trauma or emotional pain. This energy is held in the body until it is processed.
By getting quiet and fully present, the pain shows up to be released.
Maybe because you are afraid of what you will see, with your psychic powers.
When you get quiet and meditate it allows your energy to expand and you are able to tap into the portals within yourself that connect to higher dimensional realms.
This can be scary, especially when you are taught that those realms are evil. Which they aren’t, necessarily. There is some dark stuff out there and manipulation does happen. But you need to understand frequency, vibration and how to recognize what you are seeing - that takes practice.
You are a source from the higher dimensional realms.
Maybe because you just don’t trust yourself enough to lead?
For far too long, we as a society, as grown up with the notion that outside of ourselves are the experts. Doctors know better than you. Teachers have all the answers. The government has your best interest in mind. It was made by design this way to take your power away from you.
When you need outside help, you become depended on their advice and they become the expert. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. YOU are YOUR best expert. YOU can identify truth.
Don’t get me wrong, there are amazing experts in their field and YES we are all to work together but they don’t need to take your power away. You go to them and work with them when you know and have been able to identify from within yourself first, that they are your next step.
I sat down with my rose quartz crystal and immediately the tension dropped from my body.
My heart opened and I could feel the the vibration. It was calming and relaxing. It was like coming home to who I truly am.
This is what I felt and understood:
I hold the key - not the outside world. My next step in through me. Trust yourself and believe in what you can do. The power you wield is ready to be set free - are you ready to unlock it?
A flood of recent past life memories filled me. A remembering of my deepest gifts and the power to share what I know with others who feel the call.
I feel like I have just unlocked a part of me that I closed off for so many years because I didn’t have time.
Energetic leaks
What is something that you keep putting off but you know that it is important? Maybe it is meditation or maybe something else.
Now is the time to explore that area and do it. By avoiding it, you are creating an energetic leak - a subtle but persistent drain on your energy. Even if it's tucked away in the back of your mind, it still takes up mental space and energy every time it surfaces, only to be pushed aside again.
Take a moment to tune in and identify what you've been avoiding. What small step can you take today to honor that part of yourself? Remember, reclaiming your energy starts with intention and a single action.
By choosing to address what you've been avoiding—whether it's meditation or something else—you’re not just stopping the energy leaks; you’re reclaiming your power and creating space for more flow, clarity and connection in your life.
You hold the key to your next steps. Trust yourself, honor your needs and take that first small step today. The energy and fulfillment you’re seeking are already within you, waiting to be unlocked.
